You think about everything. It’s hard to relax, even at night. Your mind stays busy, no matter how tired you feel.
You wake up already thinking about everything that could go wrong today. You get through your to-do list, show up for the people who need you, and somehow hold it all together. But the moment things get quiet — in the car, in the shower, at 2am — your mind fills right back up. You’re not falling apart. But you’re tired of feeling like you’re one thing away from it.
Dr. Tim creates a calm, judgment-free space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself before you’re ready. He’s worked with women who look completely put-together on the outside and are quietly exhausted on the inside. He won’t rush you, minimize what you’re feeling, or tell you to just think more positively. He’ll help you understand why your mind works the way it does — and how to finally give it some rest.
You don’t need to have the right words before you start. You can show up exactly as you are — tired, unsure, maybe a little skeptical. Here, therapy goes deeper than just talking. You’ll start to understand what’s actually happening in your body when anxiety hits — the biology behind it, why your brain learned to respond this way, and why it’s not a character flaw. From there, we work through it with structure and intention. Using gradual, exposure-based techniques, you start to face the situations and thoughts that have been running your life — gently, at your pace, with support every step of the way. Over time, the constant bracing starts to ease. Not because your life changed overnight, but because you finally understand what’s been happening — and you have a way through it.
You don’t need to arrive with answers. You just need to show up.
A quick form, a text, or an email. Takes less than 2 minutes. That's all.
A free 10-minute call where we get an understanding for what's going on and whether we're the right fit for you. No commitment, no pressure, just an honest conversation.
Slowly, the noise gets quieter. The tension in your chest eases up. You start sleeping better, thinking more clearly, and feeling like you have room to breathe again.
Anxiety isn't a personality flaw or a mindset issue. You'll learn exactly why your nervous system responds the way it does — and why that's been so hard to just "think your way out of.
Sessions follow a clear, evidence-based framework. You'll always know what you're working on and why — no more leaving therapy wondering what the point was
You'll learn to catch the thoughts that keep the anxiety loop going and build real skills to interrupt them before they spiral
Through gradual, supported exposure work, you'll move through the things that have been keeping you small — one manageable step at a time
Not just insight, but a real toolkit. Strategies you can use in the car, at your desk, at 2am — wherever anxiety shows up
We are a private pay practice, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. Session fees are discussed during your free 10-minute call so you have full transparency before committing to anything. We do provide superbills after each session — a receipt you can submit directly to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are reimbursed a meaningful portion of their session cost this way. If you’re unsure whether your plan covers out-of-network therapy, a quick call to your insurance provider before we speak can give you a clearer picture.
That’s one of the most common things we hear — and it’s a fair concern. A lot of therapy is open-ended conversation with no clear structure or direction. That can feel good in the moment but leave you wondering why things aren’t actually changing. The approach here is different at the foundation. Rather than just talking about anxiety, we start by helping you understand why your brain learned to respond this way — tracing the origins back to early experiences in childhood or young adulthood that essentially trained your nervous system to stay on high alert. From there, we work on recalibrating that alarm system using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) exposure-based techniques, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — a clinically proven method that targets the specific memories and experiences where anxiety took root and helps your brain finally process and release them. The science is clear: the only way to truly retrain the brain’s threat response is through experience. That means gradually, safely facing what triggers you — and in some cases, going directly to the source — until your nervous system learns it’s no longer in danger. It’s structured, it’s purposeful, and it’s fundamentally different from just talking about how you feel.
If your anxiety is affecting your sleep, your relationships, your ability to be present, or your ability to simply enjoy your life — that is enough. You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support. Many of the people we work with look completely put-together on the outside. They’re functioning, they’re capable, they’re showing up for everyone around them. But underneath, they’re exhausted from years of quietly carrying something nobody else can see. That’s not a small thing. And it doesn’t have to keep being your baseline.
We offer reduced session rates for active and veteran military, first responders, and medical staff in recognition of the unique weight those roles carry. If this applies to you, simply mention it during your free consultation call and we’ll discuss what’s available.
We go entirely at your pace. Exposure-based work is never about pushing you into the deep end — it’s a gradual, step-by-step process that you’re always in control of. Nothing happens in a session that you’re not ready for. If something feels like too much, we slow down, adjust, and find a different pace. The free 10-minute call before your first session is specifically so you can ask exactly these kinds of questions, get a feel for the approach, and decide with full information whether it’s the right fit. Most people feel a sense of relief just from that first conversation.
You can take a small step today. We’ll talk, listen, and help you feel more at ease.
